Wizero Battle

Privacy Policy

How Wizero Battle handles your information. There are no advertisements, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party tracking of any kind.

Effective 10 September 2026

The short version

Wizero Battle is a paid game, not an advertising product. It carries no advertisements, no advertising SDKs, no advertising identifier, no social-network SDKs, and no third-party analytics or attribution services. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not build advertising profiles.

Almost everything the game knows about you stays on your own device. The only information that reaches us is what you deliberately send: a leaderboard entry, a licence activation, a purchase, or a support message.

This policy covers the web version at https://wizero.net and the Android version distributed through Google Play. Where the two differ, the difference is stated.

Who is responsible

Ingenious Tools is the controller of the information described in this policy. Our postal address is 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to privacy@ingenioustools.net or raised through https://ingenioustools.net/support/wizero-battle.

What stays on your device

Your progress and preferences are held in local site storage on your device, or in the app's private storage on Android. We cannot read any of it. Clearing your saved site data, or uninstalling the app, deletes all of it permanently — including progress we have no copy of.

  • Your campaign save: stages cleared, heroes, soldiers, spells, resources, mastery seals, and settings.
  • Your local high scores for campaign and survival runs.
  • Your chosen language, audio and music preferences, and whether you have seen the opening sequence.
  • A start-up diagnostic trace, kept so a failed load can be reported accurately.
  • If you own the full campaign: your licence key, the signed entitlement issued for this device, and the public key used to verify it.
  • A random device identifier, generated on your device, used only to bind your licence to the number of devices your purchase allows.
  • A random installation identifier, used only if product telemetry is enabled — see the section below. It is not derived from anything about your device or your hardware, so it is not a fingerprint, and it can be reset from the game's settings.

What we actually receive

Each row below is a separate, deliberate action on your part. If you never submit a score, never buy the game, and never contact support, we receive nothing from you but the ordinary web-server request log described at the end of this section.

Information sent to us, why, and how long it is kept
WhatWhen it is sentWhyRetention
A display name of up to 16 characters, your score, the stage reached, the mode, and for survival runs the waves held and seconds survived.Only when you choose to submit a score after a game-over defeat. Anonymous gameplay events from a fixed allowlist, with a random installation identifier and a random session identifier.Only if product telemetry is switched on for the build you are playing. It is off in the published builds. To find where the game is too hard, too slow, or broken.Aggregated; the raw events are retained no longer than 90 days.

Payment card details are entered on Stripe's own payment page and never touch our servers. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, your email address, and Stripe's references for the transaction. We never see your full card number.

Like every website, our servers and our hosting providers record ordinary request information, including your IP address. When you submit a leaderboard score, your IP address is held in memory for sixty seconds to limit how quickly scores can be posted, and is then discarded. It is never written to the leaderboard store and is never attached to your score.

Product telemetry, and its limits

The game contains a first-party telemetry system for understanding where players get stuck. It is inert unless a telemetry endpoint is configured for the build you are playing, and it is not configured in the published web or Android builds. When it is switched on, it is bound by these rules, which are enforced in the code rather than promised in prose:

  • Only events on a fixed allowlist are ever sent, and each event may carry only the specific property names listed for it. Anything not named in the allowlist is discarded before it leaves your device.
  • No display names, hero names, high-score names, licence keys, email addresses, or free text of any kind are collected. Text values are stripped to a conservative character set and truncated.
  • No screen size, user agent, language, timezone, or other passive device signal is collected, so batches cannot be used to fingerprint you.
  • Timestamps are recorded relative to the start of your session, not as wall-clock time, so batches cannot be correlated against an external log.
  • The only stable identifier is a random installation identifier generated on your device. You can reset it at any time from the game's settings.
  • Your Do Not Track setting is honoured, and there is a separate opt-out in the game's settings. Either one stops events being collected at all — they are not buffered and discarded, they are never created.

Children

Wizero Battle is a dark-fantasy game intended for players aged 13 and over, and it is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the age of digital consent in your country, where that is higher).

If you believe a child has given us personal information — most likely a display name on the leaderboard — write to privacy@ingenioustools.net and we will delete it.

Who else is involved

We use a small number of service providers to run the game. They process information only on our instructions. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and there are no advertising or analytics networks in this list.

  • Stripe — payment processing. Stripe is an independent controller of the payment data you give it; see stripe.com/privacy.
  • Cloudflare — hosting and delivery of the website and the game bundle.
  • Supabase — Ingenious Tools purchase, licence, support and verified deletion records.
  • Resend — transactional receipt, verification and support emails.
  • Netlify — hosting of the isolated leaderboard service and its stored entries.
  • Google Play — distribution and billing for the Android version, governed additionally by Google's own privacy policy.

We will disclose information if we are legally required to, and we will tell you when we are permitted to do so.

Your rights, and how to use them

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to complain to your data protection authority. We do not charge for these requests and we do not treat you differently for making one.

The deletion page at https://wizero.net/data-deletion sends you to Ingenious Tools for mailbox verification and app-specific deletion. It covers both the web and the Android versions and explains exactly what each option removes. You can also write to privacy@ingenioustools.net. We respond within 30 days.

One limit is worth stating plainly: your campaign save lives only on your device. We cannot restore it, and we cannot delete it for you — clearing your saved site data or uninstalling the app is the only way, and it is irreversible.

Security and international transfers

All traffic between the game and our services is encrypted with HTTPS. Your licence key is exchanged only with the licensing service, which returns a signed entitlement bound to your device rather than the key itself. Payment card details never reach our systems.

Our providers operate globally, so information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where the law requires a transfer mechanism, we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we will say so in the game's changelog at https://wizero.net/changelog and update the effective date above. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated policy.
