End User Licence Agreement

What you are granted

You are buying a licence to play Wizero Battle, not the software itself. Ingenious Tools grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide licence to install and play the game for your own private, non-commercial entertainment, on the number of devices your purchase covers, for as long as this agreement lasts.

The free demo is licensed on the same terms, limited to Stages 1 to 4 and the features described as part of the demo.

What you may not do

Except where a law gives you a right that cannot be signed away, you may not:

• copy, publish, sell, rent, lend, sublicense, or otherwise distribute the game or any part of it;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the game, or derive its source code;
• modify the game, create derivative works from it, or run modified copies;
• circumvent, remove, or interfere with the licence check, the demo stage limit, or any technical protection;
• extract, republish, or reuse the game's artwork, music, voice recordings, writing, or other assets outside the game;
• use the game to build a competing product, or to train a machine-learning model on its assets.

Recording and streaming your own play, including monetised video, is expressly permitted and always will be. Please credit Wizero Battle. This permission covers your own footage and commentary; it is not permission to redistribute the game's asset files.

Ownership

Wizero Battle, its code, artwork, music, voice recordings, characters, writing, and name are owned by Ingenious Tools and its licensors, and are protected by copyright and other laws. Rights not expressly granted above are reserved.

The game is built on Cocos Creator and includes third-party open-source components. Those components remain under their own licences, which are reproduced in the game's credits, and nothing in this agreement restricts a right those licences give you.

Updates

We may issue updates that fix faults, rebalance the game, or add content. Updates are covered by this agreement. The web version updates automatically when you load it; the Android version updates through Google Play. We may change or rebalance gameplay in an update — the changelog at https://wizero.net/changelog records what changed and why.

How this licence ends

This licence lasts until it is ended. It ends automatically if you break its restrictions, and it ends if you obtain a refund for your purchase — in which case you must stop playing the full campaign, though the free demo remains available to you. You may end it at any time by uninstalling the game and deleting your licence key.

Governing law

This agreement is governed by the law of the State of Wyoming, United States and is subject to the same warranty, liability, and dispute provisions as the Terms of Service at https://wizero.net/terms. Your mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.
